This cleverly named event “Guns and Hoses” held Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the Ontario Police Station. Savage BMW and MINI of Ontario showed up to support retired Police Captain Katie Roberts as her 20 year dream became a reality. For more than 40 years, Roberts has been collecting police memorabilia to share with the community. With the help of the Ontario Rotary Club, her collection will be on display in a museum located at the Ontario Police Station. From handcuffs that date back to 1865 to a selection of police officer hats from different countries, Roberts said she has either personally gone out to get the items or received them from a fellow police officer. Also on display were classic Police Cars and Fire Trucks, as well as a ton of hot rods and special interest vehicles.
